Rachel Aldiss

Rachel qualified as a physiotherapist from University of East London, following an earlier degree in Sports Therapy from University of Hertfordshire. As a student ,Rachel spent a season on placement  in professional rugby with Cardiff Blues and an internship right here at Bodybalance Physiotherapy. After graduating she worked in the NHS, but couldn’t wait to come back and join us again.

Rachel’s passion for physiotherapy was sparked as a teenager managing when she developed Osgood-Schlatter’s with limited resources in rural Wales. That early experience shaped her commitment to helping others, especially younger patients, overcome lower limb injuries and return to active lifestyles.

Rachel has extensive experience in orthopaedics in both NHS and private hospital settings, and she has worked with American Football for more than 8 years, including supporting the Great Britain national teams. Her approach combines education, manual therapy and tailored exercise rehab.

Outside the clinic, Rachel is a keen powerlifter, plays American football, and loves getting back to the mountains of Wales whenever she can.
